Linked structural model obscured by filled region.

Hello, I have a linked structural model that is sandwiched between a pilaster that is beyond and a section cut of a mezzanine. I am trying to hide the pattern of the pilaster beyond but keep the structural elements shown. The problem is when I draw a white filled region and hit "send to back" the linked structural model will still be behind the filled region.

What can I do to have the linked structural model show up in front of a filled region that I draw?

I have attached an image for help.

Thanks.

Post both RVTs.

You could modify the shape of the filled region to include the shape and line weight of the structural element.

I know that is a possibility, but I'm trying to avoid that because if a change happens to the structure, then the whole outline needs to change with it.

Can you be more detailed? What exactly do you want to see?
