I am trying to link a Rhino file (it consists of only 2D lines) into Revit. However, when I do, I get the error "Linked file could not be located. It will be displayed as it was when this project was last saved." This post talks about the same issue being resolved for DWGs in R2024. Is there any solution for Rhino files? I know I could save the Rhino file as a DWG, but that's an extra step that I'd like to avoid if possible. I am in Revit 2024.1.1.

There is no solution with linking Rhino file into Revit that only show 2d objects. You can take the Rhino Inside Revit route where you can turn the Rhino 2d objects into Revit 2d lines. You have to do Grasshopper scripting.
