Hey All,
I am having an issue with how a linked revit model from my consultant is showing up in section. We have a consultant who is in charge of modeling the structure for a precast garage made up of double tee beams and these beams are sloped for drainage. They do not model the topping slab apparently as it is not part of the consultants construction so I have modeled it to conform to the slopes of the tees as can be seen in the 3D view below cut by the Section Box tool. In this view everything is aligned and by moving the section box I can see it is aligned all the way along the slopes of the tees. More below...

When I get into the section however, the topping slab appears to not be aligned with the top of the double tees and these elements are colliding, Seen Below. I highly suspect that the issue is that the double tees from the linked Revit model are not actually being cut in plane with the section line but are instead showing the elevational profile of the element where it is higher at the edge. Any idea how to fix this so that it will show correctly in our sections?

Not clear what you are asking. Are you wanting to reduce the Far Clip Distance in Section View - or apply one?
...I am curious why it looks halftoned. Is this on purpose? Maybe applied via your View Phase Filter (e.g. not Show Complete) or maybe via another Graphic Override?
I found the issue. The Tees were modeled with camber. This is visible in the Sections but for some reason the camber does not show in the 3d view. Not sure if there is a way to get the slab I modeled on top to match this camber so I will probably just have to live with it.
