Linked revit files visibility

I have a handful of linked revit files in a central model. The model was previously updated from 2013 to Revit 2020. All the links have been reloaded and the revit links in visibility graphics have all been checked.

The issue is that all the links are visible from the exterior, however when I place a camera inside the building, none of the links are visible (missing nearly all my interior walls). Why is this the case?

Attached are some screenshots showing the file from the exterior and interior with realistic mode on.

Have you check the visibility setting of that 3D view?

When creating the camera you are creating a new view with assigned visibility graphics. In type proporties there may be a preset for view template used applied to new views. Check VG (in template) to see if links are included and/or if a VT is applied for the 3D view.

you can create a new view template in the view you able to see all the walls.. etc and then go to your camera view and apply to your view template that template you just created and see if helps. thanks

Or is it also possible that a model with walls is in a workset that is turned off in visibility/graphics? Or maybe some filters were used to hide the exterior walls? In any case, the answer must be sought in the visibility/graphics overrides of your view.

Best regards, Pavel Plotitsyn.

Well I suppose it could be a glitch, in that case see what happens if you recreate the view...

Shouldn't you people wait on him to react to the first suggestion and give feedback before throwing everything at him!

it is never a good idea to upgrade models by skipping versions.

numerous occasions have found this to be true.

the results are never good when using this short cut.

each file needs to be updated sequentially and then rebuilt in its new location (links included)
