I linked a consultant's Revit file into my project. I created my own levels. I also know how to not show their levels in my views.
But when I create a floor plan view, the selection still gives me their levels. this is clutter to me. See below the 2 highlighted levels are in my project and are the only wants I want to see to choose from.
How do make the linked ones NOT appear? I tried the link to be overlay and attached. and the template for the view I want to create ( "A ") also is set to not show levels.
I don't' link a lot and imagine if you link multiple files this gets worse. Especially since they used levels for all kind of things that shouldn't' be levels IMHO.

Hello @HVAC-Novice ,
Did you copy/monitor links with their levels? I was curious when i saw your message because i link a lot of models, and it bothers me sometimes. When i link i copy/monitor levels of 1 link and i get all their levels always visible like in your case.
Now i deleted the ones that i copy/monitored unnecessarily, and problem solved. If you do not need that levels and you copied from linked file you can delete them i guess.
I only copied the grids, not the levels from the link. But I found I had their grids in my project since I originally "bound "their link. I found all remnants inc. levels from that binding and deleted them. Now I only see "my "levels when creating floor plans.
Thanks a lot.
