Linked model with Attachment Links - mismatched Worksets

So, I have a hosting model that contains several Attachment links. I link the main (hosting) model into my active model on say, 'Workset_Links' , both for the model and the instance - all is good and the Attachment links also appear to be on 'Workset_Links'. I go back into my hosting model and add a new attachment link and sync. Back in my active model I am now working on 'Workset_ABC' and if I reload the hosting link, the new attachment link is now forced onto 'Workset_ABC', with no means to change it back to 'Workset_Links'. In a large project, this presents a problem as multiple users might have 'Workset_ABC' closed as they are working on 'Workset_XYZ' but need to see the hosting model and all its attachments. Has anyone else seen this behavior and if so, is there a known solution to this? To be clear, the worksets that the attachment links are being placed on do not exist in the hosting model.

All, an update to my own post here as I have developed a 'solution' to this. To prevent any set-up loss (and reduce the amount of data loss), I have simply created a copy of the hosting model on my local machine and set all links in this to Overlay. In the active model, Reload From to this 'Overlay' model. The important part now, switch to your 'Workset_Links' workset and now perform a second Reload From, this time back to the original hosting model with the attachment links. All attachment links are now on the correct workset!
