I am working on a revit project. I had nested linked files in a project file. I changed the location of these files so the links become "not loaded". I used "reload from" tool and selected the new path. I got the error

"Linked model .....(file name which is a nested link) is using a path already in use by another linked model." I can reload the host file but I can't link the nested files.

All the reference type of the nested links are attachment.

I also have the same issue. I have a CAD file linked into both the nested link and the host model, and the links have been unloaded or removed from the host model.

I would avoid linking the same file directly and via a nested link, as it creates issues when updating it and/or reloading from. I have seen case were it disappears when you reload for instance.
