Linked File not exporting to DWG

Right, so i have a site model linked into my building model on Revit 2017. I need to export a floor plan to DWG for a colleague, when exported, everything in the new DWG show up perfectly, except for a DWG site survey i have linked into my site model.

It shows perfectly on screen in revit and when printed to PDF

Is a layer in the exported Cad file turned off? What layer does the linked Cad go on in your export settings?

Hi @Anonymous,

Have you tried to zoom extent in Autocad ? Maybe the dwg site has a object that is too far from the rest

If you zoom and see nothing, that's because of it

( Sorry if my English is not clear)

When exporting to DWG with links etc, go to the extra options menu. From there uncheck the "export views on sheets and links as external references". (see attached image)

But many consultants want to have the dwg bound and x-reffed and not as a single dwg.
