Linked Elements not Appearing

So I am attempting to link a Curtain Wall Model to an Architectural Model of a building. A piece of the the curtain wall which is in its own group, does not appear in the Architectural Model. In the Architectural Model, all I can see is basically a big hole in the curtain wall where said group should be.

I have checked to see if it is hidden and it is not. I checked "Visibility/Graphics" as well. Just seems to be that this group did not transfer in the linking process I guess. Any help on this problem would be greatly appreciated.

It's visibility might be driven by a host setting. Have you tried custom settings?

What custom settings are you referring too? I don't have any view templates or anything applied.

Visibility and Graphics: Revit Links: change to from "by host" to "custom": turn everything on.

No luck. I turned everything on in custom settings and I tried "by linked view".

Try selecting a different discipline.

Did not work, tried all of the disciplines. I also checked the worksets in both models, all of the curtain wall is in the same workset which is open. There is no revisions or phasing in this model. The group is missing from the Model Group list.

is the group listed in the source file? it might be a link into your link?

what happens when / if you UNgroup it in the source and reload? do you see it then?

have you tried removing the link and doing it over = NOT reloading......?

I found the issue. We have work sharing on, and my co-worker was in the file and accidentally deleted the group. I realized this when I opened the file this morning and the group is gone. Luckily we have a back up file from the original designers, it is just a pain because the original file is large due to the amount of extra content we don't need. Just have to go back and start over. Thank you for the help anyway!
