Linked DWG and Worksets Visibility

Hello,

I inherited a Revit model which has various DWG linked in it. The DWGs show the correct worksets in Type Properties.

But the instance properties in the individual views show a different workset, which is greyed out and I can not change it.

I assume the DWG was linked to one view and then copied to various other views. Despite the workset, as stated in Type Properties is closed, the DWG is still visible in the individual views. How is this possible?

Is it possible to move them from the Views workset to the user-created? I do not want to control it via visibly graphics, but global. Or do I have to remove the link and start again, this time "Current view only" ticked off? Thanks in advance.

The CAD file was linked in as detail (either Current view only option was selected when linking, or it was linked in a drafting view), so it must belong to the view workset.

No...Once  you link to current view only, you will not be able to change workset. You need to RE-Link them

  1. Either with un-checked current view
  2. Or into an in-place model (Current view option in such case will not make any difference)
