Hi I have linked and set up a topo drawing from Autocad.
The drawing is only showing in 3D and not in any other views.
Does anyone know why this is?
I have checked the Visibility Graphics in the 3d view and the linked drawing is not in the imported categories tab.

If it was linked you should see the DWG in VG in any view.
I might of done that. Does that mean I have to do import it again? or is there a way around it?
Nope. Just go into VG in the view with the Invisible Link. Fix the box. All will be well.
Sorry I don't follow.
It looks like I have clicked current view only when linking the cad drawing.
Is there a way to reverse this?
I'm not sure how to 'fix the box' under VG.
Thanks
It worked for me. I linked with the box unchecked in plan view. Then went back in, checked the box, and it was wonderful.
@Anonymous go into VG>>Imported Categories. It should look just like the picture.
You linked with the box unchecked so it is okay and you can see the DWG in any views you wish. He linked with the box CHECKED so it does not work because the CAD become 2D detail lines, not 3D model lines.
@ToanDN - it works either way (or maybe I have the proverbial Ghost In The Machine)
Just did. For the n'th time. See 'em both!
Attached are a blank Revit 2017 file and a CAD file. Please link the CAD file to the Level 1 floor plan view with the "Current View Only" box CHECKED. Then go to the 3D view and see if you can turn on and see the CAD link. Upload it back if you can.
An RVT is worth a thousand words......
Sorry I don't believe you linked the CAD file with the box "Current View Only" checked. Please try again.
Edit: attached is the file with the CAD linked in with the box checked. Please turn it on for the 3D view without re-linking it.
Please, you DID NOT check the very box we have been talking about since forever. Screenshot from your cast. Check that box and come back.
Yikes! Point conceded! All hail!!
