Hello,
I have this project, where I've loaded a federate model (AutoCAD 3D) in to a Revit project. This federate model only consists of linked AutoCAD files, and besides these links it can be considered empty. In AutoCAD, in the Visual Styles, the graphics are set to Hidden Line, but when I load it in to Revit 2023, it shows up as Wireframe, regardless of which Visual Style is chosen in Revit. I've tried looking around in Visibility Graphics, but to no help. Also there are no View Templates or Filters turned on.
Below are images that show the different view styles. Please let me know if I'm missing any important information.
Thank you!
Hi @jbyd26582,
What kind of 3D objects are used in AutoCAD.
Many AutoCAD verticals (like AutoCAD plant/Civil 3D) use Enablers that show as 3D objects, these should be converted to actual 3D solids for use in Revit.
I think the convert command in AutoCAD was something like "ConvertTo3DSolid", do this in a copy of the autocad drawing because it destroys all intelligence from those elements.
