Hello all,
I am trying to link a Revit Central Model file in a rvt_Site file which is georeference, and I get the message below (see image). I use Centrer to Center for the positioning.
Is there any problem to link workshared projects?
Do you know what I can do?
Thank you in advance!
The message is just telling you that the file you are Linking in will be out of the current View's Range. It's in the project nonetheless. Go to Elevation view and move the link it up or down as needed to put it at the correct elevation. Go to plan view and do the same to position/orient the link correctly on the topo.
1. To Start with, go to VG, select the Link, use BY LINKED VIEW ' Example Ground Floor of the Linked View "
( Zoom extend on uncropped plan )
after applying this, you should be able to see the linked file/revit on plan..
2. Move the Link to correct location. in Plan.
3. Cut a section and fix the location level wise...
4. you may remove the " by Linked view " setting to keep it...
