I am attempting to take some existing plans and convert it to a Revit models... One thing that seems to slowing me down is that when you draw the walls it covers the linked drawing and you no longer see the AutoCAD drawn lines... This becomes an issue for windows and other element within the walls...
Is it possible to bring the CAD file in the foreground while drawing the plan...
I did have the thought of raising it off the base point so it was higher then the walls and changing the view cut plain but you can't see what you put into the wall doing that trick...
I also thought to turning off the Revit walls and going around placing Reference planes... but that seems like a lot of extra work...
I am hoping for an easier solution...
Thanks...
