Linework overides - line hierarchy

Hi,

I'm using the Linework tool to polish some plans.

Sometimes, I want to make part of a line invisible, but Revit will won't allow it. So, first question is, is there a way to do that?

If not, my work around is to make the entire line invisible (because I have to) and then redraw a Detail Line in. But, when I do that, the Detail Line becomes partially hidden behind the wall (the line of which I just made invisible)

Does that make sense?

I don't really want to be drawing Filled Regions all over the place and the Detail Lines over these. That would begin to take far too long.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

No.

Please provide examples of what you have ane what you are trying to achieve.

Do you have design options? I've had issues with that before. It seems like it doesn't work properly because you're modifying overlapping lines that are in the main model but aren't able to touch the ones in the design option. You have to activate the design option and use the line tool within that.

Hi,

When using the Linework Tool you can drag the blue dots after clicking a line. In the example below, I used the <Invisible lines>.

Yes.  But only for Projection lines, not Cut lines.
