I have 2 lines outlining my structure, red for an airtight barrier and yellow for insulation, I have created a linestyle for these lines and drawn them as details lines. I printed my drawings and I would much prefer if these lines drawn printed thicker, so I went to my linestyle setting and made the weight of both the yellow and red lines thicker (from 4 to 6).
However when doing so they overlap and the spacing I desire is changed, I have selected line by line and moved each line to match the original spacing before adjusting the lineweights however this takes very long and I have many more drawings which need the same yellow and red lines to be adjusted to be thicker.
Plesse see photos of the issue below, thank you. When changing weight from 4 to 6 I loose the even spacing between yellow and red lines.
If you look at the left and top yellow and red lines compared to the bottom and right lines you can see the spacing issue I am having, all lines are now 6 weight however I need to adjust each yellow line by moving them one by one away from the red to get the desired spacing back.
Yellow and red at 6 weight, however yellow is over lapping red.
The original weight of yellow and red lines at weight 4 with desired spacing before any adjustments, I would like same spacing however with adjusted line weights to be thicker.

i think this one cannot be help? then type TL when adjusting/moving/panning. thanks
I'm not sure what the correlation is between color and weight is. I think you're referring to draw order. No?
I still would need to move them so they are side by side, my original drawing with the incorrect lineweight was drawn with correct spacing, but when i change lineweight the spacing changes and they now overlay, I dont want to move each line one by one so looking for a solution.
Thank you, I deleted the yellow lines, tab selected the red and put in an offset value of 25 and then turned the offset back to yellow. Such a simple method and learnt something new, Have a great weekend buddy ![]()

Whatever. It's a scale issue then. But it ain't because of line weight or color, as neither affect the position of the line.
Haha i don't like playing with printers and scales too much, this atleast lets me know everything is clean working, offset distance is fixed and line weights show so I'm happy, a little manual work but what isn't right?
