LINES TO THE BACKGROUND

Hi!

 

Can you help me how can I put this lines that are halftone in to the background that they are not in front of structural column? Send to back is not working.

Hi @Anonymous,

 

The send to front and back works only on 2D lines in revit.

And if they are 2D lines on selecting them you will have convert line comment.

once you convert the line Bring to front works.

Converting the line doesnt help with what I want....

it hides it even under structural foundation and I cant get it in front

2d/annotation elements (i.e. lines) are always drawn "in front" of model objects in a view. If these lines are annotation lines (drawn with the detail lines tool) you will not be able to get them to go behind the column. You would need to draw them so they are not continuous.

Hi @Anonymous, 

 

Do I understand that you want the lines in front of the foundation but behind the columns? If you convert them you can send to back (but as you say, they will be behind all geometry, not just the columns) If you just don't want to see them around the columns, as it was noted above, you will have to draw a separate line around the columns for detail lines.
