Lines messed up when importing DWG

Hello guys.

I'm trying to import a DWG to Revit but it is coming with the lines messed up. Here some images to illustrate the problem.

Two information that may be useful (I don't know)

- The original DWG was exported from a Revit model

- The DWG drawing is entirely made of blocks

Does anyone know whats is going on?

Move the DWG to origin 0,0. If the drawing is 20KM away, your line will display jagged.

I'll bet the DWG is located far, far away from the Internal Origin.

Tks for the help!

Unfortunately, that's not the case. The DWG is near the origin and the building has less than 100 meters.

I was talking about Revit's Internal Origin - not the WCS Origin in the DWG.

...a.k.a. the Project Base Point Startup Location.

you can try this, in autocad try the command overkill, flatten, ucs > world > plan and viewres > y> 20000 and purge and see if helps. thanks

In my experience, this happens for one of two reasons:

1) The jagged lines come from a dwg that is indirectly linked, i.e. nested in another dwg which is actually linked in Revit.

2) Blocks - sometimes I just have to explode the blocks, or it won't behave. Not sure why, but I've seen blocks that have an internal origin very far away, even though all the geometry is in the project area, guess that can cause issues.

Anyone figured this out? I have the same problem. The drawings are however close to the origin in Revit.
