I have a question about line weight standards.
Does anyone know the reason why the OOTB annotation and perspective line weights are matched to the 1/8"=1'-0" Model lineweights instead of say the 1"=1'-0" lineweights?
I know I can change them, but curious if there was a valid reason why I shouldn't.
Perhaps 1/8" = 1' is more commonly used than 1" = 1'. Some of the 1" = 1' line weights may be too heavy for smaller scale drawings, as far as I can see.

It's probably a standard from somewhere or someone's idea of a standard. It really doesn't matter. What matters is the requirements for your projects based on local jurisdiction, company standards, trade best practices, personal choice, etc. Not necessarily in that order.
