how to modify the line weight in these model in place families?

(attached the project sample REVIT 2022)

to make them as similar to the ones inside

If all the tiles are model-in place, you can use VG (visibility graphics) to adjust the lineweight of that category in that view.

Or you could assign a specific sub-category to them and use object styles.

All of the options given here are valid. The best one will depend on your workflow and what exactly the project entails.

Linework tool could be the quickest upfront. But the time required can add up quickly if you have to do this in a lot of elevations.

Using visibility graphics would likely be a bit faster, but you'll have to do it to every view or use a view template. Depending on the category and what else you have modeled in that category, you may want to assign a sub-category to the elements for this as well.

If you have to assign the subcategory, you might as well just use the object styles option so its just the default in your project.

The choice is up to you!

You could also add all those components to a selection set and then use it as a filter in your views.

Thanks to all

almost all were right.

this is what I finally did:

-edit in place

-- family category & parameters

change walls for the one I don't use in the poject

(in my case : temporary structures)

and in Object styles

change the line weight, ptojection, cut and color for the closer

to the rest of the tiles
