Line thicknesses not showing according to object styles

In my lower ground floor plan, the glass in the curtain wall is showing as too thick. but I'm not having this problem with the 1st floor plan.

Similarly, the structural framing (colummns set into the walls) are showing up with thick lines on the first floor (as i want them) but too thin on the LGF.

I've tried overriding them but nothing changes. when i change the curtain wall colour or to halftone, this does update, but nothing will change the thickness.

Hi,

The curtain wall glass has 6 lines close together, this will merge the lines and look like a single thick line.

Apply detaillevels to the Curtainwall, show all glass layers @ detail fine level and a single glass object for Coarse/medium (linewidth is set at 0.15mm pen 1, scale 1:50, see object styles and LineWeight settings)

You don't have this on the first floor because it's another panel family with only one layer of glass (so 2 lines vs 6 lines)

The structural framing looks thesame width here, try zooming in further it's a display issue.

See below;

first is zoomed out line is thin, and glass almost looks a single line

the second it's clear to see the framing has a thick line, and the glass seems to have 3 lines (actually there 6)

your Curtain Panel family being used on the Lower Ground Floor has 3 pains of glass and 2 seals in it. like @TripleM-Dev.net said, that is 7-6 extra lines. I do not show that kind of detail in a Curtain Panel. I typically note it with a Keynote and then a Standard Detail is used to show the extra detail.

Edit your Curtain Wall Panel Family, select all the Geometries and uncheck Plan/RCP under their Visibility Settings. Then in Plan View draw a SINGLE Detail Line for each of the 3 Panes and 4 more for the rectangle boundary around them.

...or jack up the View Scale, or leave it be and reduce your Global #1 Pen Weight for the View Scale. Only half-kidding.
