Hello all,

Maybe a silly question but when we create a new line style, the line weight  (Projection) that I indicate in which scale corresponds?

Thank you in advance!

@cbcarch , @Viveka_CD ,

Thank you for your answer.

My queston is that if I have in another programme a line with a weight 0.70mm and I want to create the same line in Revit when I go manage > additional settings > Line style > New, The line weight that I should give will be 5 (bec. in 1:50 it corresponds to 0.70mm or  4 bec in 1:10 it correspons to 0.70 too...etc  ?

Thank you in advance!

If you want to avoid Revit's fancy schmancy ability to scale line weights according to view scale, then just decide that a 5 is 0.70 regardless, and assign 0.70 into number 5 for EVERY SCALE.
