Line in 'in place mass' will only move on two axis. How do I fix this?

I created a line on the bottom floor of my Revit project (indicated by the blue arrow), and then copied it to the third floor (indicated by the red arrow). I am trying to move the line outwards away from the building, but it only let's me move it up, down, left, and right. I'm new to Revit and I can't figure out why It's stuck to two axis. I thought It was a constraint or something but when I turned on 'reveal constraints' there was nothing.

FYI: I am in 'in-place mass' mode.

Select the line and change the level on the options bar.

Because you draw the line when the workplane is a Level (by default). You can select the line and change its host to a different level or a named reference plane.

A better way is draw two points, create a line through points, then yoi can change the points Offset value to bring the the line up or down or even sloped.
