Hey,
I've been encountering this problem for some time;
I will export Model Lines drawn within a Revit Project using the Export>CAD command. Once Exported I will then import the CAD export into a Revit Family so I can build a parametric family and ensure the geometry matches my trace.
However every time I export my trace, not all of my lines will export. Any thoughts?
Michael

Hi,
Actually When lines are too small, Revit will not display them.
Explanation:
Revit is not CAD and does not work the same way ,
When you export to 2D DWG or DXF ,The view scale you apply determines the result of export.
For example, if your Revit View contains 2 lines that are 1/4" apart and the view scale is 1:100, the exported DWG will contain a single line .
If the view scale is 1:20, the exported DWG will contain separate lines.
As a solution , you can change the view scale.
I just want to thank you again. This has been a great help.
@michael.duric welcome any time 🙂
