Lighting Fixture is not placed in wall correctly

Hi, I'm doing a project and I have to put a lighting fixture in the wall. I created from the start (Metric Lighting Fixture Wall Based) and in the family is the placed correctly in the wall, but when a load in the project that is a gap (6,5cm) that I can't work how to fix it. I tried so many parameters, but my ideias are gone now... Can someone help, give an insight ou something that I can work with? I am sending some pictures to ilustrate, I erased all the parameters that a created.Projeto 2.JPGProjeto.JPG

You did not constrain the fixture to the face of wall in the family so when the wall in the project is thicker, the fixture is buried (partially) in the wall, and when the wall is thinner, there is a gap.

Pull constraining dimensions between geometry and Wall Face. You could even Label them with Parameters to control an precise  offset distance.

Might help to first use the Pick Host Tool in the Family to re-host the geometry (e.g. the bracket portion) to the Wall Face. The Geometry's "Work Plane" Property will read "Basic Wall: Generic" if hosted to Wall Face.

Thanks a lot! I pulled the constrain to the face of the wall, created a parameter and constrained that too and it worked!
