Light missing from render

Is there any trick to fixing a light (brought in from bim object) that isn't sowing in the render?

I tried 2 different recessed and neither show. But the pendants I put in do show.

Do the Lighting Families actually contain a Light Sources. Open the Families and verify.  You can Post the Families here if you like. Or, post the Project containing them.

...you could verify existence of Light Source in Project by going to 3D View that has the Fixtures and turn on "Light Source" Subcategory under "Lighting Fixtures" in VG Overrides.  This will make the Light Source Geometry visible in the View.

Use "Attachment"  to post a RVT or RFA. But, judging from these screenshots, I don't think Light Source is your problem. What are your Rendering Settings? Also, verify that the Light Fixtures aren't buried inside solid Geometry .

Check to make sure no geometry in the Family itself is positioned in front of the Light Source and blocking it.  Check the Materials your Family is using in the Project.

Jack up the "Exposure Value". That help?

In the light source or the render settings?

Render the Scene and then adjust exposure settings

So I did that and hit render, its been on 0% for 10 mins now. Is that normal? Thought revit renderings were supposed to be fairly quick?

Sounds hardware related. Not Software. Took me approximately 15 seconds to Render what I posted above -- and I used "Medium".

Here's another Rendering showing how the "Ring" geometry looks with a Self-Illumination.

Yeah, something is off --- the Materials.  Assign a Project Material to all the Family's Material Parameters that I showed above.

As far as I can see, none of the Materials listed in the Error are Light Fixture Materials. You know, I'm starting to doubt whether any of what we've been talking about has anything to do with your issue.  Post the Revit File.

I was getting renders last night, they were dark but still. And it was quick. Now nothing I'm not sure what changed. I have the final due wednesday I am starting to really worry.

Start from scratch then. Recreate the Views.  Sometimes Views get corrupt inexplicably.

Doesn't seem to let me upload my file, even in zipped folder

I changed the ring type but it is not showing, at least this view rendered and is not black like the other. I would like to have it how you showed when you changed the ring type..can't even really see them in the ceiling.
