License for VRAY for Revit

Every time I ‘m opening Revit the VRAY for Revit is asking me to insert again and again and again my license information.

I did the acquire license more than 10 times. That never happened with my previous versions.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

… hi @Anonymous

… you are not doing anything wrong

… after clicking the acquire license

… go to settings

… licensing

… check the obtain license on start up

... this way it will never ask you again for the license

I am not sure of whether we are talking about the same problem, my base product is 3ds Max not Revit. Here it goes, anyway.

I was using the wrong interface. The proper one is this:

I hope that the folks that work in the Chaos Group "V-Ray for Revit" department are NOT reading this post.

Those in the "V-Ray for 3ds Max" department will be happy.

My project (Free Open Source 3D Model of Dealey Plaza) is by definition multi-platform, multi-application. I want ALL volunteers to feel welcome, whether they are from the Revit, 3ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, SketchUp, etc. religion.  : -)

If you want to deliver the most amazing and impressive renderings and videos, you should consider this route/workflow:

 Revit -> 3ds Max -> V-Ray

If you want to learn from seasoned experts, quick and cheap, consider this route:

… you can keep coming here to ask those anytime

… or even better yet …

… go to chaosgroup / v-ray for revit forums

… they will answer better … I guess

… and don’t forget

Thanks. What do you mean? That the Vray for REvit is bad? Do you suggest to go through 3dsMax instead?

I've tried before with 3dsMax but was harder . The settings in Revit are apparently less complicated.

Please explain. Thanks.

V-Ray for Revit is not bad.

Keep in mind that I hire rented guns. I find

 - a LOT more
 - who produce the most amazing renderings

in the 3ds Max world.
