I discovered in our model that our level datums do not match the architecture and structural models. Our level is 6" off graphically, but the datum marker text matches the architecture model (98'-7").
However, if I move our level and model vertically 6", it will match the other model graphically, but the marker level text will read 99'-1".
What's the correct way to move our levels if it does not match the architecture model
hello, you can use Shared Coordinates. thanks
Hello
Datum shows as per
1. Survey point or
2. Project base point..
Task A.
Find out whether " Levels " are shown as per 1, or 2...
Task B.
Align the model and levels... ( seems you have done this ) now to correct the datum you just need
to move Survey point or Project base point ( based on Task A )
Pls note... Survey point and Project base point might need " clipping" or unclipping while moving them..
Ex: level showing 10.00 meters, relative to Project Base Point.. and to make the level 11.00 meters , then you need to move
survey point in opposite direction ( i.e . downwards ) to 1.00 metes.
I'm not understanding. So "their" datum's elevation doesn't match yours. So what? Do the levels line up? Great!
Last Line Correction
Ex: level showing 10.00 meters, relative to Project Base Point.. and to make the level 11.00 meters , then you need to move Project Base Point.. in opposite direction ( i.e . downwards ) to 1.00 metes.
