Hi
so this is a hard one to search out so I'm resorting to posting; often I don't want the level lines to go through the model so I pull then off to the side (per slide 1) however this leads to them being pulled off in the opposite direction on the opposing view (say from north to south elevation. is there a way to manipulate this in individual elevation views
the example I show here is the overall height level at the top is moved off to to the right side in the first example but to the left in its opposite elevation. This occurs to all the levels of course if I move them too.

Instead of adjusting the 3D extents, switch to the 2D representation which is view specific.
Select the level and click on the "3D"
Thanks, it did not seem to work as I was bulk dragging them across and you have to manipulate them individually to set it up. Although the 3D note did not fix it, it gave me enough incentive to look close at those little ticks and flicks on the line ends and trial and error got to this:
it is still doing it, I tried the fix of taking all the 3d to 2d and then moving them all to the left or right but it still swaps the opposite elevation - so with a little more testing I saw that I needed to extend the lines across the model and then use the square boxes to swap the position of the level notation and then shrink the line / drag it off the model, that seems to be what works
