Is it possible to have a level's elevation be set relative to another level and display as such? For example, having a level read as "2nd Floor Ceiling" and have the elevation be "+10'-0" A.F.F.". I know that this naturally works by default with single-story projects, but for multistory projects it doesn't seem this is possible, since all levels reference a common project base point or survey point. Thanks in advance.
Hi @Anonymous
I don't use levels for Ceiling levels in Revit. I view Levels as defining the structural floor levels of a building, and I think this is the way Revit is designed to work. There would be no plan (Reflected or Floor) associated to the Ceiling Level. I would be inclined to create an annotation family (Symbol) to represent the ceiling level. the Text defining the Height above Floor level could be type driven so that you can have typical Ceiling heights without having to fill in every symbol.
