Level tags from Linked Files

I have a few linked files from our consultants in our main file. Their tags and annotation are set differently than ours, and for the most part I can use filters and hide the items I don't want to show. The level tags however, won't/aren't doing what I want them to. I can't select those as individual elements to hide (it just selects the whole linked file, and I tabbing for a different selection doesn't work. I can't delete/remove them in the linked file, because things are dependant on them. Also, it only seems to be in certain views, is there anything I can do to hide these?

In the screen shot, the top tag (top right), "Level 4" is from the linked file and needs to go away, but I want to keep the tag toward the bottom right... thoughts?

Hi!  I have a corollary to this question - Can I do this globally instead of in each and every elevation and section?

I just linked the topo from a different file, and I do not want the native topo "levels" to be tagged in my host file.  Your method turns off the levels in each view separately, but can I do it overall?  Thanks.

You Can use view templates to set the desired visibility setting and then apply the view template to all the views you want.
