Hello all,
After creating elevation or section cut the level label, as seen in this screen snippet, is always overlapping my view and I have to drag it to the right every single time. Is it possible to just adjust the setting so it just stays out of my view automatically?

they have a relationship with crop boundary, as they get changed as view changes you have to turn them all to 2d and change manually, I don't think there is any setting that allows to keep them away from boundary.
Hi @Anonymous
Try editing the Level Head Famly, and move it to the right so that the text starts at the end of the Level line, rather than finishing at the end of level line.
Hey Joe,
Thanks for the reply. I'm not seeing the reference planes in the family editor as in your screenshot, only the label and bubble. I should have mentioned I'm in version 2018.3, not sure if it makes a difference.
Hi @Anonymous
In Visibility Graphics (VV/VG), Annotation Tab, turn on Ref Planes
Joe, Ah i should have thought of that. well i did manage to put the text labels on the right side of the bubble and save as a new family. I hit load and close and it does show up in my annotation families in the project browser but when i click on the level in an elevation then go to the drop down menu in the properties palette my saved level family or type is not listed.
Hi @Anonymous
You can select the level, Edit Type, Duplicate the Level type, then Select the Symbol to apply to the level.
Hey thanks joe! I did not see the symbol selection in the type properties, with some adjustments i should be able to make this work!
awesome
One follow up question if you don't mind.
There is a gap where the text used to be on the left and I'm having trouble finding where this can be modified.
I'm sorry I don't understand the question, what do you want to be able to modify and where?
