Level Height Rename

Hi All Reviters,

I have many different buildings in one revit file all my buildings are at different height due to topography.

At sections each level settings is measured from survey point so building heights are good  - is there a way that all my different level height to be 0 in their own section ?
Because every building has to show as individuals as well,  like floor plan, relation to other buildings  -

I know if i move project base point with out the clip than it will be related to this building "A"  0 - but is it possible to do this with every building ? or even an option to save that position for each building where i moved the base point ?

Thank You,

Ivo

One of my biggest frustrations. We too begin each level from 0'-0". Thank God we don't typically have more than 2 floor levels, otherwise it would be difficult to do. Right now, we reference Level 1 relative to Survey Point and Level 2 relative to Project Base Point -- which is at second floor level.

You need to create a different Level Type that omits "Elevation" and replaces it with a Shared Parameter that you can reference to an Instance Project Parameter for Levels.

Hi barthbradely

Yes I know that but sadly we work with GEO reference and coordinates so the survey point is where it exactly has to be.. so we cant link the level to the survey sadly because than it will be some '-' value. I couldn't find any good solution for this - I tried to change elevation value with unicode  -"to write 0-0 and it wont change the height of the level but it didn't allow me to do that.. So sadly it's a huge problem for me..
