Legrnd component section right / left

hello.

I'm using Revit 2023 and i wonder if there is a way to show section side view to a component in legend?

there is only floor plan view and elevation front / back.

Create a Detail Item Family and place it in the Legend as a Detail Component.

...Can you tell us what component?

...Another approach FWIW: drag the component from the Project Browser to the Legend.

No.  But you can create an Assembly + Assembly Section view from the component and use it in lieu of a Legend.  Or create a Legend phase, place the component and section it.

If you are actually needing a Legend – one you can place on multiple Sheets – and the Legend Component doesn’t have a Section Detail Level, you can always create and place Detail Groups in the Legend.  That is, go to the Section View where the Component is being cut through (obviously you have one if you need to include it in a Legend), and trace it with Detail Lines. Then Group all the Detail Lines together and drag that Detail Group to the Legend. Beats the heck out of creating and duplicating custom “Legend” Views and Phases.

Example: Detail Groups representing Section Detail Level for Window Component Types in Legend:
