I am working on our standards and going over our tags.
Is there a way to lay out all the tags without needing the elements they are tagging Ex: Can I pull out the furniture tag without pulling out a placeholder piece of furniture?
I am trying to document our tags into a legend or to just lay them all out for comparison, but it is proving more challenging than anticipated.

We have Legends set up with Architectural Symbols for all the Tags, Callouts, etc.
Annotate Tab>Symbol
This will be my last resort, just wanted to know if there was a smart BIM way of doing this.
Creating duplicates of every tag is pretty inefficient, especially coupled with the fact that there is no easy way to expose all the tags so that we can make symbols out of them. This also assumes an extra step of making all changes to tags translate to the symbols when they are updated.

Really, I'd like to be able to expose my tags on a legend plan.
Also, converting tags to symbols should be semi or fully automated because of their intrinsic relationship which currently has to be synchronized manually and painfully.
I've submitted an idea here:
A little note. These tags in Legends cannot show their arrows. So it's a bit annoying if you're trying to find and purge all the outlaw arrowheads from your project or template.
