LED strip light showing grey instead of yellow

I have a LED strip light that I want to use to put under shelves and joinery cabinets. The light is parametric in length, but as soon as I modify the length, instead of showing a yellow glow, it shows grey. I want the yellow glow to show on the "consistent colour mode", not only in the "realistic mode", as it's the mode I use to present to clients.

I have attached the family and some images with the examples of yellow (red arrow) VS grey (pink arrow) glow.

Any idea how to make the yellow glow show with the strip set at any length? Thanks so much!!

I should've also added, I have tried doing this LED strip lighting different ways following tutorials, and the light glows on the "realistic view mode", but it shows grey as well on the "consistent colour mode", I would need the light source to always show yellow, file attached. Any idea how to make the light sources glow always as yellow? Thanks a lot!

I can change the consistent color via Override Graphics in View By Element, but have no control over the Realistic display, which makes sense to me because Revit is adding lighting effects - as well as material properties - in Realistic.

...why don't you model an enclosure that is the same size and extents of the Light Source, and turn off the Light Source in the View?

BTW: the Light Source doesn't Render either.

Thanks so much for looking into this! I have tried modifying the consistent color as you explained and it worked! Thanks a lot for this great suggestion!

I am not sure either why the light source doesn't render though.

The Light Source is akin to an EIS File (e.g. Photometric Web File).   The Light Source and EIS define the space that the light moves through.  Google "EIS" for additional information/clarification.
