Leaders and tags

Hi Everyone,

I have a keynote tag that has 3 different shapes in it. I would like to keep it as a single family with visibility parameters but because each is a different width, the leader is not attaching properly. See the image. I don't remember this being an issue before 2017, so this leads me to believe that this is because of the changes to text that occurred in this version. Any recommendations about how I can keep all three of these tags in the same family? The first image is what they look like in a project, and the second is the family itself. TIA!

Create each shape as a separate Generic Annotation family with yes/no visibility parameters. Nest into a keynote family, associate the parameters. Add labels with yes/no visibility parameters the same as the shape they are associated with. When inserted, you will be able to hide the tags you do not need, and add leaders as needed to the labels.

Thanks for your response. I tried this, but when I tried to link the parameter, Key Value isn't available to link to the parameter that I created in the generic annotation family.

The generic annotation family is only for the shape. The label with the required parameter will be created in the last family, where all 3 shapes will be nested.

Can you share your family? What we have done is instead of using the Key Value parameter, we have just used a text parameter for the label.

That worked! I don't know why, you didn't used to have to nest in the linework - very frustrating. Thanks for your help.
