Dear Revit community,
I have a created a Window Legend, however I have a large window that was composed using the curtain wall, and I want this to be part of my window legend, but I cannot seem to do it. I tried making it into an assembly, but not luck.
Anyone's advise in how to make this happen is much appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Greg

Just that one? Trace it with Detail Linework, Group and place the Detail Group in the Legend.
There's no automatic way to do it. You can do what Barth suggested, or another option is to create an elevation view of the window and hide everything else via filters, view templates, or manually. Creating a view template or filters for it would be ideal because you could reuse them in this project (and future projects if you incorporate it into your project template). Then place that elevation adjacent to the others.
Never have CWs been able to appear in Legends. It's been a wish list item since Moses wore shorts. A workaround would be to create a pre-existing "Legend" Phase and put copies of your CWs in that Phase and demo them before Construction Phases begin. Then you can create "Legend" Views, Schedules and what not, without impacting the "actual" Curtain Wall count, etc. in the Construction Phases. But this is a little much for just one CW.
Create an isolated elevation of the curtain wall, or create an assembly / assembly elevation view of the curtain wall and place it on sheet below the legend.
