Landscape legend

I have a revit model with topo surfaces. These are shown as grass, asphalt, paving, soil etc. I need to create a legend showing all these items for the landscaping plan. I have created a legend which I can show legend components such as trees but I can't work out how to show a section of the grass, for example. I know how to use hatch patterns but this need to be the realistic view. All I can think of is to take a screenshot of a section of the grass and insert that image into the legend, or is that the only way to do it? I have added an example of what I have done so far with screenshotting the grass. Thanks.

Create a realistic view of a small area of the topo and save it to an image within the project, then place that saved image (under Rendering section in your project browser) in the legend view.

I would create a schedule key. Use Topography or other category as your object

Create a new parameter called image and custom description

Then add your image to the schedule. Choose Autodesk Material image or any of your custom image. You can keep adding new key as needed

Once you add to your sheet, the material will display
