I'm trying to make a parametric electrical family (outlet) and got the labels in and have the parameters set for the labels. My problem is that when the outlet is on the side or facing down in plan view, the labels all shift, and then if the scale is changed they're either too close or too far away from the symbol.
So I mainly have 2 issues:
1. How can I set this family up so that in each scale the label is in the correct spot.
2. How can I set this family up so that when the symbol is in any position the text is in the correct spot.
I'm sure these issues are related, I just can't seem to figure it out.

Put the Label in the Outlet Annotation Family and nest that one into Outlet Family.
...you can open one of the OOTB families and see how it's done. Symbol and Label are in one family that is nested into the Parent Family.
So right now I have the Label as a nested family and the outlet symbol into the nested family. You're suggesting I merge those two together first, and then place it into the parent family, is this correct? I'm assuming I'll need to do this for each label so that I can keep my yes/no parameter working. I'll try this and see what happens. Thanks.
