Label Sample Values

Is there a way for the sample value of a label in a generic annotation to be visible when the annotation is inserted in a project? I have a set of generic annotations which I regularly use, some of the sample values would often be the required value in the project and it would be helpful if I didn't have to enter these manually each time. I using Revit LT on Wiindows 10.

Are you saying the GA Label's Sample Value displays in the Project?  It shouldn't.  

....I think you mean a Parameter Value.  If so, make it an Instance Parameter and clear the value.

No, exactly the opposite. I want the sample value to show in the project, so I don't have to change it's correct.

A TAG is only reading what's there.  If you want the Family TYPE to have a fixed value, then make sure the Tag is reading a TYPE Parameter - and enter a Value into that Parameter Field. It will be applied to ALL the Family Types.  

...just to be clear: Tags only REPORT Parameter Values. They don't CREATE Parameter Values. You do.
