Keynotes Edit

I know that in the Keynote Text file you can pretty much edit the keynote list however you'd like but technically has to be done a certain way so that it's in an organize list. Right now in our firms template a typical keynote number may read 07 21 00.A1. Is there anyway to get the keynote to not show the ".A1" with out sacrificing the way its being organized?

Edit the keynote tag family and add a 254 255 255 text to mask the last 2 characters of the label.
