Keynote file will not load

I am once more getting very frustrated by Revit.  Whilst I am using 2019.2.1 it is telling me that there are:-No Tag.JPG

So I click yes, only to get a dialog as follows:No Tag 1.JPG

Well, this dialog is not looking for .txt files which, of course, Keynote files are!

So I try picking Keynote Settings and find my Keynote file by browsing and use a relative file path and clicking the Reload button.  However, when I have done this and got the message:

No Tag 2.JPG

I close this and go back to the Keynote selection on the Tag section of the Annotate tab, guess what?

No Tag.JPG

The only thing that I have done recently is to, at the instructions of 'Help' , is delete the revit.ini file because my recent project screen was not updating.  I have tried reloading Revit to see if this works so where do I go now?

Not sure I'm following. No Keynote TAGS loaded is the message.  Keynote TAGS are an Annotation Family in the Annotation Folder.

Keynote database text file and keynote Tag family are entirely different.  The window you are showing are looking for the Tag family - go further to the Annotation sub-folder you will see it.

If you want to load a keynote database text file, go to Annotate tab >Keynote dropdown > Keynote settings.

You are missing the point, I am not getting the opportunity to 'go
further' as the dialog that opens when I agree to load a 'keynote file'
is the one I show, which will only let 'Files of type:' *.rfa or *.adsk
file to be chosen. Why is this dialog opening? Further, when I give up
that method and go to 'Keynote Settings', find the correct file and load
it, it is not loading!

You only see rfa files because you are clicked on the keynote tool, which is for placing a actual keynote tag family, and since you didn't have any keynote tag family present in your project, Revit prompted yoi to choose one from the library. You cannot load a keynote database text file by doing that. You must load it from.the keynote settings menu, you will.not see any keynotes magically appear in the view because it is just a database to reference from. After loading, load a keynote tag family rfa to place individual keynote tag in your view. They are two separate processes, and both must be done in order to get the keynote function working properly.
