keyboard strokes changing background colour

In the last few days, my Revit has been "flashing" to dark mode when I hit the following keystrokes.

t+r+space - flashes to dark mode when the spacebar is held down. (does not do after just t+r and does not do it after just the space bar is pressed)

tab - doesn't stay in dark mode, just flickers to it.

Any idea why it is doing this? It's not affecting my workflow but it's really annoying!

Cookie crumbs in the keyboard.  Turn the keyboard upside-down and shake them out.

Dark Theme in Revit is barely noticeable and to my knowledge it is not accessible via keyboard short cuts (unless you have an addin installed for coloring Tabs and Menus)

So my guess, you have something else going on there, Graphics maybe, or those cookie crumbs Barth mentioned

Assign RT as a short cut for say Room Tag see if it interrupts that behavior

You're not using Windows 11 by chance?

Updated my graphics driver and no luck. Not on windows 11 and cookie crumbs aren't the issue. Oh and I already had the keyboard shortcut set.

Any other ideas?

Have you tried a different keyboard?  If I was experiencing the same issue, that would be my second move. My first move would be to open a brand new Project and see if it was happening in that Project.  Is it happening in all Projects - with any keyboard?  If so, maybe a software update is available? Maybe from Autodesk?

Troubleshooting. ARRGH!

The keyboard short cut for changing the Canvas from Dark to Light and back-and-forth is CA. It can also be changed in the Options menu under the Colors tab. It can also be changed in the contextual ribbon under the View tab.
