Keyboard Shortcut for Point Element

I've been doing a lot of work in adaptive modeling, and a lot of the work is based on reference points and I'm getting tired of finding the button every time I need it. I checked the Shortcuts Window, but couldn't even find the command to add a shortcut. Any ideas?

I've attached a screenshot with the expanded command details for reference.

Really, @L.Maas? I wasn't aware of that rule. I've been guilty of doing that in the past.

@barthbradley It is a quite common forums rule. See THIS post on the community forum.

its annoying not to have a shortcut / or not able to give a shortcut to that command..

till then...try this..

1. After placing one point, you can use " Ctrl " " Drag " ( this will create a copy.)

2. while creating family no one uses that icon to recreate the point..

3. And in the project, for families etc, " CS " create similar is popular..

4. unfortunately "CS' doesn't work for " point Element "

Cheers

This lack feature in set the keyboard shortcut annoy me too. I cannot find the keyboard shortcut for place Point Element. IMO, Revit not good as Inventor in view of keyboard shortcut. In Inventor, I can set all commands by keyboard shortcut. No need for the mouse. Very flexible. Life is easier in Inventor than Revit.
