Joins within walls in links

Hi All,

Our office is busy with a medium to high density residential typology and we are making use of various links for the units, such as Units A; B; C and linking these in multiple times per floor plan.

We are currently busy with documentation for council and construction and are having issues with how the walls "joining" between the links are displayed. We have attempted to use the "linework" tool to hide the offending wall line, however the following happens; it appears incorrectly.

Might anyone have any suggestions?

you cannot use join on model elements with linked elements or link elements with other link elements.

I see two options and neither is magical,
1- use filed region (edge lines with line wall thickness and where not to be in contact use invisible lines)

2 - Use copy monitor to bring the link walls to the model and join (Not all types of elements can be copied and monitored).

These options varied depending on your workflow.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Drawing over it is not going to work as we have over 70 links like this.

I would rather have it indicate in red as it does and confirm there are no "nibs" in the walls with the contractors. We try to minimize the amount of drafting we do, and prefer to model intelligently, it just becomes frustrating when the programme lets you down like this.
