Joining Roofs - Higher Roof to Lower Roof

Hi - Could somebody give me some advice on joining roofs please.

I'm trying to join two roofs together by extending onto the other - Unfortunately the one to be extended is higher than the other roof (see attached image).

Both roofs are created by footprint.

Thanks in advance.

I propose to make two Roof by Footprint using Cutoff Level:

  1. First make in Floor Plan View a seria of Reference Planes to control the position of major volumes of the roof
  2. then , in an Elevation View or Section , place a new Level (Level 3) at a distance from Level 2 equal with the distance from roof 1 and 3 to roof 2
  3. using Roof by Footprint sketch roof 2 with two slopes - from Properties use Base Level 2 and Cutoff Level 3 - Image 01 and Image 02
  4. make a Roof by Footrint in Floor Plan - Level 3  without cutoff in top of the cuted roof from step 3 - as in Image 3 - the same slope angle as the roof from level 2 to 3
  5. the result is - Image 04
  6. Back to roof 2 - Edit sketch - increase the lentgh of it so to come under roof 1 and 2 - as in Image 05
  7. Now, Join the two roofs using :Geometry > Join Geometry
