Joining a porch gable to the main roof.

No matter what I do, I can not get the porch gable to join to the main roof.  I currently have the porch gable dropped down 2' from the main roof, I tried to even it out with no drop down and I still could not get it to join.  Any help is appreciated!.

Raise the porch roof up a bit. I think it's missing the target.

I ended up just making the main roof and the gable portion of the porch one roof. It ended up working that way.
