James Hardie wall panel

Hi: Thanks a lot for so much help I got from this forum. My teacher want me to use James Hardie wall panel library to do the exterior of my project. I downloaded the James Hardie complete library but it is just lots of Revit projects with different types of wall. I attached one of the James Hardie wall project that I downloaded and also my project file names ad Temp. Is there any you tube video showing how to incorporate the James Hardie wall panel using the James Hardie project and incorporate into my project. Not sure if this is even possible or not.

Thanks a lot

I would use one of their Curtain Wall Types and apply the siding to the exterior face of your existing Project Walls - pretty much like it will be done in the real world.

Another way to do it, seeing how you have a lot of fenestrations, it to add a finish layer to your existing walls that is the same thickness (8.5mm) and material as the Hardi siding.  But first you need to change the Orientation of all your Exterior Walls. Presently, they are all facing inwards.

TIP: Change all the Walls' Location Line to Wall Centerline to before changing Wall Orientation.

After changing Wall Orientations, edit the Wall Type.
