Items Visible Below the View Range

Why would the footing (drawn as a floor) be visible below the view range? It is 2'-0" below Level 1 and the Range Level Bottom is set to 0'-0".  There are no underlays.

Floors within 4 ft of the view range will show.  Use foundatiin slabs instead of floors then you won't have this problem.
